Copies of the book "A Practical Guide to Good Lager Brewing Practice" are available for sale at

This paperback book is 172 pages long and was designed to introduce the first time reader to the
technology of brewing. The facts are presented without the direct use of technical terminology; these
terms are however, shown in brackets and a more detailed explanation is included in a glossary. A
further aim is to provide the budding brewing technologist with the essentials of "good brewing
practice" and a guide to practical trouble shooting.
The book provides an ideal lead-in to the many good, more detailed textbooks which are available.
It was prepared by Dick Meisel, MSc, F.I.Brew, for the Africa Section and has been revised in
1999.
